Webinar: Preparing for Alberta's October Referendum

Alberta's upcoming referendum may have implications for the communities, clients, and services that many non-profits work with every day.

Join AAISA for a practical, non-partisan webinar exploring the potential impacts of the referendum on community-serving organizations and the settlement sector. Hear perspectives from sector leaders and discuss how organizations can prepare to support their communities.

During the webinar, participants will:
✅ Hear perspectives from Stop Hate Alberta and the Nonprofit Chamber
✅ Explore potential impacts on clients, communities, frontline staff, and service delivery
✅ Discuss implications for the settlement sector

Every block represents a unique participant, with different skin tones, clothing, and personal touches—celebrating the unique individuals who have chosen to call Edson home. The world maps at the top and bottom represent the many journeys that brought us here, while the city names in the corners invite you to find your hometown!

Beautiful maple leaf 🍁 quilting designs add a special Canadian touch to this meaningful piece.
