This program is designed specifically for Catholic women seeking to strengthen their leadership skills while remaining grounded in faith, Scripture, and Church teaching. The Catholic Women's Leadership Foundation is proud to share a new continuing education program in partnership with Saint Paul University:

Catholic Women’s Leadership Program – Transformative Catholic Women Leaders in a Synodal Church

Beginning May 1, 2026, this dynamic 8-week online program features four modules, plus an orientation and closing session. Participants will earn a Certificate of Completion while deepening their leadership capacity.

Rooted in the vision of a synodal Church and inspired by the “culture of encounter” championed by Pope Francis, this program explores essential leadership skills including:
• Reflective practice
• Inclusion
• Emotional intelligence
• Generative dialogue

Grow in self-awareness, strengthen your voice, and step more fully into your role as a transformative Catholic woman leader.

Heavenly Father,

We (I) come before You in gratitude for the gift of our (my) dear sister (their name). You have created (their name) with purpose, strength, and a generous heart for service. Today, we (I) lift (their name) to You in love and in trust as she recovers from surgery (or, illness/injury/trauma etc).

Lord Jesus, Divine Healer, place Your gentle and restoring hand upon (their name). Calm any discomfort, ease every strain on her body (mind and/or soul), and grant her deep, steady healing. Renew her strength day by day. Surround her with skilled caregivers, restful sleep, and the quiet assurance that You are near.

Holy Spirit, Comforter and Advocate, fill her room with peace. Guard her mind from worry and her heart from discouragement. Let her feel the embrace of our sisterhood even from afar — the prayers whispered, the candles lit, and the intentions offered in her name.

Blessed Mother Mary, wrap (their name) in your maternal mantle. As you stood faithfully beside your Son, stand now beside our sister. Intercede for her complete and speedy healing, that she may return to us renewed in health and spirit.

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new continuing education opportunity at St. Mary’s University: Catholic Women in Leadership, an eight-week hybrid program designed to equip and support women leading within Catholic communities and institutions.

Beginning March 3, 2026, this program combines weekly online evening sessions with a concluding two-day in-person retreat in Calgary. Participants will engage with distinguished Catholic leaders, educators, theologians, and community practitioners who bring extensive experience in executive leadership, ministry, Indigenous education, social justice, inclusion, and spiritual formation.

Throughout the program, participants will explore servant leadership, Indigenous ways of leading, discernment, resiliency, inclusion, and missionary discipleship—all grounded in Catholic social teaching and faith-informed practice. The course is interactive and practical, offering meaningful discussion, reflection, and applied leadership tools. Upon completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion through St. Mary’s University Continuing Education.
