For over a decade, Gateway Casino and Entertainment Ltd. has joined us in creating a healthier community by supporting us with their Gateway GIVES program.

Their support has helped fund one day of soup every week — providing consistent, nourishing meals to the individuals we serve. By offsetting essential meal costs, their partnership ensures that vulnerable Edmontonians have access to healthy, ready-to-eat food when they need it most.

Through their support, they have sponsored more than 10,000 bowls of soup. This number does little to reflect the full impact of their partnership on the many Edmontonians facing barriers to a healthy, prepared meal.

Thank you for helping us spread nourishment and connection, one bowl of soup at a time.

Our Best of Brunch YEG fundraiser is in full swing, with plenty of egg-citing events and partnerships.

Restaurant contestant Pip Food & Drink is teaming up with Timber Benefitsto double their support. Try their new feature brunch dishes — the Sweet or Savoury Dutch Baby. With each feature sold, Timber will match Pip's donation of $1, further enabling us to deliver healthy meals and connection.

Edmonton Meals on Wheels is proud to partner with Newcomer Centre to support new Canadians with the Culinary Skills Program.

Over the course of a two-week practicum, students gain hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen. With these new developed skills, students can enter the food industry with confidence.

Our staff and volunteers have grown to deeply appreciate each student who undertakes a practicum with us.

We're so 'egg-cited' to officially launch Best of Brunch YEG 🎊

From May - 31, you can brunch for a cause in a flavourful community fundraiser, bringing together local restaurants to compete for title of best brunch dish. Throughout the month, you can taste and rate these delicious dishes, all while supporting Edmonton Meals on Wheels.

This event offers us the opportunity to spread some support within the community, generating buzz for local businesses while raising funds for our essential meal programs.

With over 20 dishes to try, we encourage you to make your brunch plans and head to your nearest participating shop!
