Chinatown Business Association  華埠及地區商會 This culturally diverse corner of the provincial capital provides the unique collection of services from across the globe for all facets of life.

The McCauley District of Edmonton boasts more than 250 businesses that create a dynamic, multi-cultural quarter of the city and offers Edmontonians the chance to stay home and experience the wo

It is home to an array of shops, boutiques and markets that provide not only the necessities but a variety of ethnic specialties, there are restaurants and cafes abound for either a night out or a quick bite, it is home to more than a dozen churches and there are recreation facilities including Commonwealth Stadium and the North Central Recreation Centre nearby providing sports and fitness opportunities. In this quaint neighbourhood you can find items ranging from Vietnamese noodle bowls, European style hand-tied floral bouquets, 100 types of olive oil, the largest old-style meat deli in the city, Chinese and Italian markets, bakeries featuring cultural delicacies and specialty clothing, decor and giftware boutiques offering one-of-a-kind merchandise. All of this in addition to restaurants, sidewalk cafes and gourmet coffee shops that specialize in authentic fare from various world cultures.

Join us Sunday, February 22, 2026, for another year celebrating Lunar New Year in partnership with the Royal Alberta Museum and City of Edmonton.

🕥 10:30 AM (The Outdoor Parade has been CANCELLED due to extremely cold weather) Meet at Museum at 11:40am for a 12:00pm start time.

Huge thanks to the Chinese Journal for working with me two hours before print to make sure our Festival made it into the Chinese newspaper for this weeks edition!

Also loved running into the sweetest couple on the right while planning out our Chinatown Summer Festival. Moments like this remind me why I love our community so much! Also huge thank you to my team for helping with all the last min planning!

Also did you know we will have a train with two train stops to get you from the kids area to Sari Sari?
