Since Kin Canada Bursaries began in 1994, over $1.5 million has been awarded to community- and volunteer-minded students across Canada.

Last year, 97 students were awarded a $1000 bursary. Approximately 800 students applied from all over Canada.

Some of our members are at Basically Babies tonight helping sort donations, size/inventory tiny clothes, launder layettes, and assemble the contents into the beautiful finished product ready to clothe a newborn for their entire first year !!!

IT’S OFFICIALLY ! Operation Friendship Seniors Society (OFSS) annual Socktober campaign is back! 🧡 From October 1-31, 2026, they want to collect 10,000 pairs of NEW, warm winter socks for Edmonton seniors in need!!
❄️ Here’s how YOU can help:
🧦 Donate one pair or a whole bunch of NEW, warm winter socks. (You can also give to a Kinette Club of Edmonton member)
📍 Drop your donations off at one of the participating locations listed on the poster.
🧡 Help them spread the word so they can reach our 10,000-pair goal!
