Following Monica’s presentation from Variety Children's Charity to our club this spring, we approved a community grant for the Sensory Backpacks program that provide for children and youth with disabilities and specialized needs . The backpacks were delivered to 4 northeast schools: Balwin, Northmount, Delwood and Fraser. They include fidget spinners, blankets, books and other sensory tools to support kids with autism and other learning disabilities. This picture is with Principal Cooper at Fraser school.

Had a great 2026-27 Club Planning session with incoming President John along with scribe Kelly, to look at our club direction. Great ideas, suggestions and possible solutions to how our club will adapt to 2026-27! (Still working out the kinks with our On-line attendees so that their experience is as inclusive as those attending in person. #1 goal for July and forward!)

We had an excellent meeting last night where Jeffrey Tyson gave a presentation on Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) in construction and the efficiency and cost savings this approach provides. I especially appreciated how he incorporated the Rotary Four-Way Test into the discussion of the system. The meeting had great energy and sparked some wonderful conversations.
