Ritchie Men's shed would like to invite everyone out to our Hall Iday Clothing drive Wrap up party at the Ritchie Comunity Hall. 4B Harm Reduction Society will also be there and you can learn more about what they do for the cities Homeless. We will have Hot choclate and Candy Canes. And you can also bring down more Adult Clothing and Winter supplies for donation. And thank you to everyone once again who has already made donations!

Two Saturdays left to bring down any Adult clothing especially winter and Mens clothing. To Ritchie Men's shed. All donations are going to 4B Harm reduction society to help those in need in the the inner city. And a huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far! We want to make a real push these last few weeks for more donations. So if you have any old clothing your just not using anymore please bring it down. Look for the Men's Shed sign Saturday form 10am to noon. Next to the Ritchie halls parking lot. And please no Red clothing or items. Blankets, boots and backpacks are also being accepted..

This Saturday. If you have any adult clothing, especially men's clothing. And any winter accessories. Jackets, boots, gloves anything like that even backpacks. Please bring them down to Ritchie Men's shed this Saturday between 10am and noon. We are accepting donations for 4B harm reduction. All donations will go to help those in need in the inner city. All clothing must be clean and in wearable condition. And please no Red clothing or items. Red can be seen as a Gang mark. So they can not accept any red items to insure the safety of people on the streets from being accidentally associated or targeted by gang violence.

You can drop off your items between 10am and noon at the Ritchie hall. Look for the Men's shed sigh outside the side door to the small hall by the parking lot. And we will be excepting donations every saturday in December.

A huge thank you from Ritchie Men's Shed and 4B Harm Reduction Society for all the wonderful donations today of Clothing. These donations will greatly help those in our inner city this winter. We had a number of people stop by and ended up with about 12 bags of Clothing donated. Along with a pair of boots, knapsack and Blankets.

For the Month of December. If you do have any items to donate. You can bring them down to Ritchie Men's Shed any Saturday from 10am till noon. At the Ritchie Hall. Just look for our sign outside the small hall next to the parking lot.

Please insure all clothing is cleaned and in good wearable condition. Also please no donations of any red clothing or items. As this colour can be associated in the inner city with gang affiliation. So they do not want to put any vulnerable people in potential harm's way.

And while they are mainly looking for men's clothing as there is a shortage. Womens clothing is also being accepted. Along with blankets, and knapsacks. And in high demand is any winter clothing and boots. And while they are not actively looking for children's clothing. 4B said if you do want to donate any. You can just please put them in a separate and marked bag. And they will be able to distribute them to other programs.

And once again thank you to our wonderful community and surrounding communities for your support and donations!

Hey everyone!

For the month of December the Ritchie Men's Shed will be collecting clothing donations to be handed out to people in need in the community and in the city. If you have extra clothing sitting around especially winter clothing (shirts, socks, gloves, scarves, toques, jackets etc), that are both clean and not too worn out, please bring them to the Ritchie Men's Shed at the Ritchie Community Hall any Saturday this month from 10am-12pm. The shed is facing the parking lot south east corner of the League.

On top of that, the Ritchie Men's Shed will be hosting a Winter Hall-iday Party at the Ritchie Community Hall on Saturday, Dec 27 from 12pm-2pm, open to everyone in the community. There will be light snacks, hot chocolate, and some holiday activities, as well as tallying up how many donations we were able to collect over the month.

December is the season of giving, and we at the Ritchie Men's Shed are excited to see what the community can accomplish when we come together!

Ritchie Men's Shed along with Mens Health Group and Elko Engineering Garage would love to welcome all out to The UofA's Elco Engineering Garage at 9107 116 St. If you have some free time and would like to make yourself a free wooden cell phone stand. Come on by 🙂 And learn more about all of these organization's and what we and they do and offer. And meet some new people and have a great time!

Well Ritchie Men's Shed is now on Facebook. And everyone is welcome to follow our page and see what we are up to and community projects we are working on and interact with the page. Though we will be posting here too 🙂

Today we were working on a few projects. Building some cell phone stands for a group at the UofA and started out the planning and got the wood to start working on a Puzzle box for the Ritchie Coffee social. So they can work on some puzzles. And be able to safely store inbetween there Tuesday get togethers 🙂
