A missed field trip, a school program that needs funding, a family quietly struggling to keep up. 18,041 helped last year.

The Edmonton Catholic Schools Foundation exists to close the gap between barriers and education.

Through our Dreams for Kids campaign, we fund requests from principals, teachers, and support workers on behalf of students and their families.

None of this happens without you.

Edmonton Catholic Schools Foundation connects service, identity, and relationships with a Catholic education. We raise resources that enhance school programs by removing barriers that stand between students and their education.

We are a faith-filled community inspired by the Catholic education in Edmonton.

We support initiatives that keep the Catholic message alive, fund requests from schools for children and their families, and build relationships that advocate for Catholic education.

Last week, the Edmonton Catholic Schools Division celebrated Catholic Education Week. We are all called, all beacons of hope.

The Edmonton Catholic Schools Foundation is a proud partner in their mission. Every child, every student deserves the chance to learn, grow, and shine, as a beacon of hope, in our community.

$1151 raised. One brilliant idea. Countless students supported!

It began when Assistant Principal Shanley Alger brought a vision to her community this Lenten season in an act of generosity for students across the division.

The school said yes and what followed was extraordinary. Every dollar raised goes to the Guardian Angel Fund which supports the mental health and well-being of students across ECSD, ensuring that when a child is struggling, the care they need is within reach.

A beautiful reminder that caring for one another, mind, heart and spirit, is something we learn together in classrooms and chapels across our division. Thank you Shanley. Thank you Joan Carr Catholic school. You've made our whole community brighter.
