Hello Poodle lovers!! 😉😉The 2026 National Specialty is right around the corner… November 27-29, 2026 to be exact. Held in conjunction with a stellar international poodle panel at the Evelyn Kenny Kennel & Obedience Club.

Additionally the Poodle Club of Alberta (the other PCA 😉) is having their specialty the same weekend!!!

National judge is James Moses
Puppy Sweeps and veteran sweeps is Lisa Bjornsrud
Junior Handling judge is Allison Alexander
PCAlberta judge is Mikey Sung from Taiwan!

This will be a must attend poodle event!!!

You know what else we will have!?!?! SWAG!

You can custom order your own National Hoodie, crewneck, t-shirt, blanket, Grooming apron or mug! You pick the color of the garment and the graphic! PLUS you can have the specialty wording added or just have it as a Christmas Poodle garment… you choose!

All proceeds of the Swag are split between the National specialty and the Alberta Specialty.

Huge thank you to the Poodle Club of Alberta for gifting the use of the Graphic for the use of this fundraiser!

If you haven’t guessed… is a Christmas Theme!!! 🎄🎅

Free shipping on orders over $150!
If you’re planning on attending the specialty, have your order in no later than November 1st to ensure you receive your order to wear it that weekend.

Thank you for supporting this year’s event!!

We might be bias, but the Poodle Club of Alberta agrees!!!

Christmas in JULY!!!

2026 Poodle Specialty Store is active!!!

Please take the time to support our fundraiser for the 2026 Poodle Club of Canada National Specialty in conjunction with the Poodle Club of Alberta regional specialty AND the Evelyn Kenny Kennel and Obedience Club all breed shows!

This graphic was designed and graciously donated for use of these combined specialties by the Poodle Club of Alberta! All proceeds from the store will be split between the 2 specialties to help cover the overhead costs.

This store offers you an opportunity to have some specialty merchandise regardless of where you’re from or if you’ll be attending the show. This is our take on Poodle Club of America’s swag 😉

However there won’t be any merchandise for sale at the show itself, so if you see something you like, this is where you’ll be able to order it!

All garments are customizable. You choose:

🐩garment color
🐩graphic color
🐩graphic type (with or without wording)
🐩garment size (of course 😉)

PLUS…

Standard shipping rates or FREE shipping on orders of $150 or more.

If you are planning on attending the specialties and want your swag in time to wear it there, be sure to have your order in no later than Nov 2. But honestly I wouldn’t wait that long!!!

PS: I’ve personally ordered from this company and the Poodle Club of Alberta uses this company for their merchandise. It’s a Canadian company, with fabulous customer service abs the apparel is great quality!

Fabulous interview done about poodles at the Edmonton Pet Expo!!!

01/20/2026

This past weekend was the Edmonton Pet Expo and the Poodle Club of Alberta had a vendor booth to promote our wonderful breed!

I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of the poodle club members who took the time to bring their dogs down for the public to meet!

Standards:
🐩 Caroline with Wren, Grady & Dr. Watson (black corded poodle)
🐩 Karen with Cosmo
🐩 Krista with Wicca
🐩 Kristin with Maverick and Valley
🐩Crystal with Fred (white corded poodle)

Miniatures:
🐩 I had old lady Katniss there at 12 years old!

Toy:
🐩 hopefully we will have a representative next year! 🤞

Without the dedication of these breeders taking the time to promote our breed and talk to the public, our participation in this expo couldnt happen! There are sooo many moving parts to coordinate, so thank you to those who listened to my meltdowns and came up with solutions!!!

Huge thank you to Tim (Wren’s dad) for setting up our TV display and to Crystal for your wonderful slide show!!! Thank you to Caroline for helping to set up and Krista for helping Caroline do the take down. As they say, teamwork makes the dream work… and you all ROCK!!! Huge thank you to Elaine for making the incredible pop up banners! I saw a lot of people scanning those QR codes!!!

Last but not least….. thank you to our dogs! Who endured thousands of pets and probably close to that in treats! You’ve all earned a well deserved rest!

Until next time…. See you at the 2027 expo!!!
