Known for their dazzling looks, dramatic plays, and unwavering commitment to looking good while being mildly athletic, this team is here to prove that rhinestones and softball are a perfect match.

Whether they’re stealing bases or stealing the spotlight, The Rhinestoned Runners are guaranteed to bring unforgettable energy to the diamond at the 5th Annual Drag Me Out to the Ball Game on July 5 at RE/MAX Field. Doors open at 11 AM and the game starts at 12 PM.

Meet the Teams: The Sequined Sliders

Serving rhinestones, chaos, and questionable athletic ability, The Sequined Sliders are ready to slide into your hearts and possibly miss every base along the way. This dazzling lineup is bringing big energy, bigger personalities, and enough sequins to blind the outfield.

They may not know all the rules of baseball, but they do know how to put on a show. Expect dramatic entrances, fierce competition, and a whole lot of glitter flying across the diamond.

After carefully monitoring the weather forecast over the past several days, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Drag Me Out to the Ballgame to Sunday, July 5, 2026.

We know many of you have been looking forward to the event, and this was not a decision we made lightly. Unfortunately, the forecast has continued to worsen, and we believe postponing is the best way to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our performers, volunteers, sponsors, and attendees.

All event times will remain the same:
Gates Open: 11:00 AM
Ballgame: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
After Party: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Your current ticket(s) will automatically be valid for the new date. No action is required if you plan to attend on July 5.

If you are unable to attend the new date, we can issue a refund for your ticket(s), less any processing fees charged by our ticketing provider. Refund requests can be sent to [email protected].

As an entirely volunteer-run organization, we kindly ask for your patience when submitting refund requests. We have a single volunteer managing all ticketing inquiries and will work through requests as quickly as possible.

While we understand that not everyone will be able to accommodate the new date, we hope those who can will consider keeping their tickets. Drag Me Out to the Ballgame is a charitable fundraising event supporting HIV Edmonton and the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton, and every ticket retained helps us maximize the funds we can raise for these important organizations.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding, flexibility, and support.

We can't wait to see you at RE/MAX Field on July 5 for what promises to be our biggest and best ballgame yet.

Every iconic sporting event needs a voice… and ours come with better wigs, sharper comebacks, and significantly more sparkle.

Please welcome your game day announcers, the dynamic duo themselves, Rob & Godiva

They’ll be bringing the play-by-play, the colour commentary, and at least several unnecessary but deeply appreciated dramatic pauses. Whether it’s a home run, a missed catch, or a queen dramatically sliding into second base like it’s the finale of a reality competition, they’ll make sure you hear about it.

Come for the baseball. Stay for the commentary that absolutely should not be broadcast on mainstream sports television.
