🏁🚩🚴‍♀️We are willing to pick up your gently used bikes to repair them/tune them up and get them out to children in need, or they can be dropped off to our volunteer in Northwest Edmonton area. Where are Volunteer mechanic located in Stony Plain, will come into the city to pick up the bikes. Bikes can be dropped off directly to him as well. We prefer bikes stored indoors so not rusty and seized up so they can be easily repaired. 🚴‍♀️🚩🏁

We are in desperate need of 20-27" boys/girls bikes. But we also need smaller children’s bikes as we have a lot of families in need. We also have drop off locations in Sherwood Park, St Albert , Millwoods and again at our Northwest location where the bikes are picked up for repair‼️🚴‍♀️‼️

We have given out over 3000 bikes in the last 6 years.

‼️Last year we gave out about 200 bikes. I am hoping we can get a lot more bikes out to families in need this year ‼️

‼️🚴‍♀️The gentleman that is donating his time to fix the bikes, also volunteers for You can ride 2 - fixing bikes for children with disabilities. So he has to split his time. This decreases the number of bikes we can get out to kids‼️

We are desperately looking for another volunteer bike mechanic or two so we can get more bikes out to kids/teens in need.

Check out some of these smiling faces. Showing you that your donations truly make a difference.

‼️We are also looking for Scooters/tricycles, push toys or motorized vehicles ‼️

‼️ This request has been filled.‼️

The mom didn't ask, but I know that she is desperately in need of some help. This mom came to pick up a package today. She shared the news with me that her 19-year-old son was brutally assaulted stabbed and killed on Monday. She is still in shock and came in with her nine-year-old daughter. I gave her the longest hug, and we cried together as I have known this young man for at least nine years. We had just delivered a bed to his apartment a couple of months ago and he was so happy to be starting out on his own. Their door was kicked in. He was assaulted, stabbed and killed, the roommate was beat up badly. This mom now needs to deal with the funeral home on Monday and then going to court to witness the person or persons responsible for her son's death in the courthouse. This is heartbreaking and traumatizing anytime but just cuts like a knife so close to Christmas. This um has already survived almost passing away from kidney failure, she was beaten and left her dead by her ex and her eight-year-old daughter at the time called 911. She was just trying to rebuilt her life and get back on track and now this has happened. I don't know how much more one person could take 💔😭

‼️I am wondering if there would be any sponsors left that might like to take on this family‼️

This is single Mom, her 24-year-old son, her 22 year-old son and her nine-year-old daughter They all live together to help cover their monthly rent, bills, and put some food on the table . They are dealing with this the best that they can. She said she doesn't think it has hit Home yet. She feels like she's just walking in a fog. My heart is breaking for her 💔💔

If there is anybody that would like to take part in trying to help this family at least have groceries and some type of Christmas. I think it would be a blessing as they try to navigate their way through this very difficult and dark path. Please comment below if yPriti Natalyng to participate in anyway. Thank you,
