Quebec has had control since 1991 ?

I wanted to share something we’re beginning to explore near the Barrhead area.
We’re working on a small multi-use pilot development that would combine:
• Housing for approximately 20 people
• Fresh vegetable production
• A shared processing kitchen (so nothing goes to waste)
• Employment connected directly to the land
Instead of separating housing, jobs, and food systems, we believe they can be thoughtfully designed together.

The goal is simple:
Create stable housing, meaningful work, and local food production — all within one integrated model.

We’re in the early stages and reaching out to potential collaborators, supporters, and community-minded individuals who believe we can build better.

As interest grows, we are offering a basic community membership to support communication and coordination as the project develops.

The membership is $10 per month and helps cover essential administrative costs, including email updates, planning communications, and ongoing project coordination. Staying connected by email is critical to moving this work forward. Today we are reaching out to the territories for respectful communications and possible shared community projects.

This membership is not an investment and does not represent equity or ownership. It is simply a way for supporters to stay informed, engaged, and connected as the project evolves.

Any future participation or investment opportunities would be shared separately and transparently, at the appropriate stage.
