The City of Edmonton is building the 2027 to 2030 budget and wants to hear from you. The budget sets out services and construction projects over the next four years, along with the property taxes and user fees needed to pay for them, so this has a big impact on you and your community. This is your chance to share your feedback and tell the City what matters to you. Public engagement is on until May 1. You can take part online or in person at (please interest here the location and date for your ward).

Weinlos Playground Renewal feedback and information session is happening in two days on March 26!

The City of Edmonton seeks public feedback on design options for the playground in Weinlos Park. You are invited to attend a drop-in event to view the design options and meet the project team.

Where: Lakewood Community League, 260 Lakewood Road East NW

When: Thursday, March 26, 2026, 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The project team will use information gathered in this phase of public engagement, along with City policies and other requirements, to finalize a preferred playground design. You can learn more about playground renewal and past engagements on this project at

Ridgwood's Festive Yard Contest is back for 2025!

Help us spread the cheer and show appreciation for our friends and neighbours that go the extra mile with delighting our neighbourhoods of Bisset, Minchau, and Weinlos with their festive decorations.

Nominations are now open, with one Grand Prize winner and one People's Choice winner - both receiving prizes of gift certificates to Mill Woods Town Centre.

Thank you so much to all the amazing artists, artisans, shoppers, and families that came by to our market on Saturday, November 29th! We had an amazing time, and met so many community members. Thank you all for supporting our local artists and businesses and for crafting with us!

Visit our market hall full of some of Edmonton's best local artists and artisans. Each of our vendors is 100% handmade, and runs the gamut from art to jewelry, to food to textiles, to ceramics to body care and more!

Bring the whole family and visit our free craft room where you can make personalized stockings, make cards, holiday crafts, and write a letter to Santa.

Warm up with hot drinks at our concession while you shop and make merry. We can't wait to celebrate with you today.

It's feeling properly wintery out there, some come on down to our market and celebration of the holiday season. Check out our curated market hall, full of talented artists and artisans. Swing by our family craft room where you can make personalized stockings, create cards, and make holiday crafts.

Each market goer gets one free entry to our door prize draws, donated by local businesses and vendors.

Our next vendor feature is Tomashewsky Hobby Farm! Rose will be bringing some of her beautiful handmade ceramics, along with hand dyed yarn from her own flock of Icelandic sheep. Come down and take a look at some of these truly local fibre goods.
