We are pleased to introduce Dr. Beverlie Dietze as the second of our two keynote speakers for ARCQE’s Curriculum Framework Supports Showcase of Learning, open to all Educators/Programs interested in attending and learning more about programs working to implement core concepts of Flight. This event is scheduled to take place February 5–6, 2027, and listed on the Approved List of Workshops and Conferences for Professional Development and Release Time Funding for all levels, guiding a focus on Nurturing a Culture for Learning! Save The Date!

Beverlie will invite participants to explore the value of learning communities and the conditions that support continuous professional learning. Together, participants will consider different types of learning communities, how they are structured, and the role of leaders in nurturing a culture where learning, reflection, and growth can flourish.

Here’s more information about Dr. Beverlie Dietze and her work:

Dr. Beverlie Dietze is an early childhood educator, researcher, author and consultant who has spent decades working with children, families and the educators who support them. She is the founder of B. Dietze Consulting Inc., where she focuses on outdoor pedagogy, staff development and program quality. She has co-written several Pearson Canada textbooks used in colleges and universities across Canada, including Playing and Learning in Early Childhood Education and Empowering Pedagogy for Early Childhood Education (with Diane Kashin), and Outdoor and Nature Play in Early Childhood Education and has several peer- reviewed published articles. Educators value her sessions for their practical strategies, grounded in research, that put children's voices and play at the centre of early childhood.
