15 tailor shops and hair salons were opened in December supporting 45 Nafasi trained women in Mathare. Nafasi added extra support with much needed additional equipment, working materials, and group dynamics training so these hard working women have the best chance to thrive with their first businesses. We had the exciting opportunity to meet with Oxfam Kenya and the 7 incredible Women’s Rights Organizations (WROs) supported by Oxfam Kenya's Women’s Rights Fund.

The forum was a space for WROs to:
🔹 Share their priorities on women’s economic empowerment
🔹 Highlight existing gaps
🔹 Build connections with like-minded partners for sustainability

Nafasi looks forward to continue working with Oxfam Kenya and the amazing WROs to collaborate on capacity building economic empowerment programs!
