Riverdale looks good on you!

Riverdale Elementary has some brand new merch, and it's available for preorder!

From cozy sweatshirts and toques to colourful tees and pins, there's a little something for everyone. And you don't have to be a student (or even have one!) to show off your Riverdale pride.

Even better? The designs were created right here in the neighbourhood, printed in Canada, and all proceeds support Riverdale Elementary through the Riverdale Educational Fundraising Society, helping fund school programming, events, equipment, and more.

🛍️ Preorders close October 30
📦 Pickup in early December — just in time for holiday gifting!

Check out the collection and place your order here:

Thank you to everyone who came out to Community League Day 2026 and everyone who volunteered to make us laugh, sing, dance, play some cards, smash some apples for fresh juice and paint the children's faces. To our leader Lynne who made sure there were cookies, ice creme and Popsicles for everyone as well, we thank you for your dedication to our Riverdale Community League!

We had an incredible turnout at our Special General Meeting on August 17, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out to take part.

Thank you to everyone who asked questions, put their name forward, voted, and took an active part in shaping what comes next for our community.

We came away from the evening with a full board and a great mix of returning and new faces ready to take on the work ahead.

Most of all, it was pretty great to see a room full of neighbours who care about Riverdale and want to be part of its future.

We’ll introduce you to your new board soon and share more about what’s ahead for the Riverdale Community League.

Thank you, Riverdale. 💚

Over the past few weeks, we've shared some of the many different strengths that help build a strong Community League Board.

The Organizer.

The Listener.

The Problem Solver.

The Creative Thinker.

The Connector.

The New Neighbour.

The Long-Time Riverdalian.

The Helping Hand.

The truth is, there isn't one perfect Board member.

A strong Board is made up of people with different experiences, different perspectives, and different strengths all working toward the same goal.

Every position on the Board will be elected at our Special General Meeting on August 17.

Whether you've seen yourself in one of these posts, thought of a neighbour who'd be a great fit, or you're simply curious to learn more, we hope you'll join us.

The Helping Hand

No one builds a community alone.

The strongest communities are made up of people who are willing to do their part, whatever that may look like.

If you're someone who's always ready to step in when needed, we'd love to see you at our Special General Meeting on Monday, August 17.

The Connector

Strong communities are built on strong connections.

Communities grow when people feel welcome, included, and like they belong. Those simple moments are what make Riverdale feel like home.

If you're someone who enjoys bringing people together, we'd love to see you at our Special General Meeting on Monday, August 17.
