Over the past two days, Africa Centre was proud to participate in the Global Economic Diversification (GED) Summit in Edmonton as both a panel contributor and exhibitor.
Throughout the summit, our team hosted an Africa Centre booth, connecting with attendees, partners, and community leaders while showcasing our programs and impact across Alberta.
We were honoured to see Africa Centre Board Member Terrence Sakwe contribute to the panel, “Public-Private Collaboration in Regional Economic Growth,” where he highlighted the importance of partnerships, investment, and collaborative leadership in building stronger and more sustainable communities.
Later in the day, Executive Director Abdoulaye Barry joined the panel, “The Digital Economy Revolution: Building Inclusive Growth Through Innovation,” sharing insights on inclusive growth, digital opportunities, and empowering communities through innovation.
Thank you to the GED Summit organizers and to everyone who visited our booth and engaged in these important conversations. We look forward to continuing to foster meaningful partnerships that advance innovation, inclusion, and community impact.
