CAMPUS UNICEF PRESENTS: our annual Truck Yeah fundraiser!

To start off the fall semester, we are collaborating with local food trucks to invite them onto our campus and provide many delicious options for our students. It will be happening April 7th and 8tth, and the trucks will be parked at Celebration Plaza (not University Commons), which is right by the entrance of the admin building.

Just a FYI that tucks will be accepting contactless payments ONLY! We hope to see you there and we wish you good luck on your upcoming school year! 😊☀️

Huge volunteering opportunity! Campus UNICEF is brining back our annual March into Fun, where we go to an underprivileged school and help organize a day of activities for the kids there. This includes all sorts of stuff, such as music activities, science experiments, and physical exercise.

Fall into Fun is a one day event where Campus UNICEF facilitates a whole day of fun activities and science experiments at an underprivileged school. This year it will be taking place on Monday 18th November at Glengarry School. (9211 135 Ave, Edmonton, AB T5E 1N7)

Volunteers are needed from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm to help set-up and run activities as well as interact with students to ensure the event runs smoothly and is fun for all!

Campus UNICEF is looking for students to join our Advocacy Committee!

The Advocacy Committee is dedicated to raising awareness about key issues involving youth inequality. It is mainly done by Hosting awareness events (e.g., Show Debate) to promote thoughtful discussion and uploading student blogs/podcasts on the website. Every month, the Advocacy committee showcases a student-written article tackling a specific problem. During the general meetings, the committee will provide a brief presentation regarding their blog.
