Grovenor Residents please be sure to find out more about the Restrictive Covenant that is being proposed for our neighbourhood tonight. It would protect all of us from the big huge developments but still support responsible development. Tell your neighbours!

RC in the Park

Grovenor Growth will be hosting a Restrictive Covenant (RC) mini-information session in Grovenor Park (by the Community League Hall) on Thursday July 9, from 530pm to 730pm.

There will be no presentation. This is primarily an opportunity for conversation and asking questions you might have about Grovenor's proposed Restrictive Covenant.

Please stop by. Community volunteers will be there to provide RC information, answer questions, and maybe dispel a few circulating myths.

This will be an opportunity to chat one-on-one, meet neighbours and provide RC feedback.

Thursday July 9, from 530pm to 730pm. Grovenor Park.

A message from the Grovenor Growth group -
Did you miss the Restrictive Covenant (RC) Town Hall?
No worries. GrovenorGrowth had planned to set up in the park this weekend to meet residents and answer questions, but it's wet out there!!
So, here are the highlights of the RC drafted for our community:
· Maximum of 5 dwellings per lot
· No more than 4 separate dwellings in any single structure.
· Maximum height of 9.1m to the highest peak of any structure.
· Minimum Front Setback of 4.5m, or the average setback of abutting lots, whichever is greater.
· Maximum site coverage of 40% and cannot be contained in one structure.
· Minimum 0.5 on-site parking units per dwelling. Parking units must be in an on site structure.

It's time for the Town Hall that many of you have been waiting for - Restricted Covenants (RC) and our community.
June 18 @ 7pm at the Community League hall.
There will be presentations on the draft RC for Grovenor, on the impact of large multiplexes on residential housing prices, and time for Q and As.
Please look for the flyer and attached information sheet in your mailbox.
Please note that the meeting will not be streamed. It's likely to be standing room only, so be early if you'd like a seat.
