Are you a local business owner, maker, or entrepreneur looking to connect with your neighbours? Join our Local Business Showcase! Vendor Fee: $25 + one donated prize/gift item. This cost will be waived if you bring added value to our event (donating items to our community like food or drinks or providing an activity that people can do.) Don’t let any of your fresh apples go to waste this fall! Join us at Sakaw Gardens Hall as instructor Cindy Suelzle guides us through everything from apple juice and apple cider vinegar to apple butter and apple pies. 🥧🍏 You’ll learn all the best preservation methods—canning, freezing, dehydrating, and more—so you can enjoy your harvest all year long!

🚶‍♂️ Walk Your Block Week is Here! Step outside, get moving, and help make Millhurst an even safer, safer, and closer-knit community—just by going for a walk!

From August 16 to August 22, 2026, all Edmontonians are encouraged to hit the pavement for Walk Your Block Week. Whether it’s a solo morning stroll, an evening walk with the family, or a group outing with your neighbours, your presence on the streets helps deter crime, build safety awareness, and foster friendly neighbourhood connections.

Every step counts towards building a stronger community! 💚

A little rain couldn’t stop the learning—or the berry picking! The group had an amazing time out at Rosy Farms for their Haskap field trip! Even with a bit of rain, everyone had a blast filling their buckets and learning so much from Andrew about what makes Haskap berries so unique, how they grow, and the best ways to harvest them.

A huge thank you to Andrew for sharing his expertise (and a tour of the awesome farm!)! Check out some of the highlights below!

Haskaps Field Trip to Rosy Farms with U-Pick Experience!

Host a Community Block Party this August, September or October! This summer and fall, Millhurst Community League wants to help bring neighbours together! We’re offering $200 to support up to six neighbourhood gatherings whether it’s a BBQ, a potluck, or a fun-filled block party.

Here’s how it works:
- Your event must involve at least six neighbouring households with the opportunity for 1 Millhurst board members to attend
-You can host it on your street or in a front yard August, September or October!
- Events should be resident-led and follow the City of Edmonton’s Block Party and Play Street Guidelines
- We’ll sponsor up to 6 events this summer, so apply early to secure your spot!

How to apply:
1. Gather interest from your neighbours
2. Pick a date and location
3. Complete this Google Form with your event details
