๐Ÿ’œ Friday Safety Challenge: Physical Abuse

This Friday, we're raising awareness about physical abuse of older adults.

๐Ÿ’œ Take a moment to check in on an older adult in your life. Listen, care, and speak up if something doesn't feel right.

Every older adult deserves to feel safe, respected, and cared for.

Together, we can look out for our elders and build safer, more caring neighbourhoods.

๐Ÿ’œ The More You Know Monday

Emotional and psychological abuse can leave deep wounds that aren't always visible. No one should feel afraid, alone, controlled, or unheardโ€”especially in a place where they should feel safe.

Let's take a moment to check in on the elders in our lives. A kind conversation, a listening ear, or simply letting someone know they matter can make a difference.

๐Ÿ’œ Let's look out for our elders and remind them that they are valued, respected, and never alone.

Together, we can build safer, kinder, and more caring neighbourhoods.

๐Ÿ’œ The More You Know Monday

Physical abuse is one form of elder abuse that can have serious impacts on an older adultโ€™s safety, health, and well-being.

Let's look out for our elders. A simple conversation, a caring check-in, or noticing the signs can help someone feel supported and protected.

Together, we can create safer, more caring neighbourhoods where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
