Thank you to the Alberta Filipino Journal and April Angeles for featuring our fiesta in the August edition! We're proud to have raised over $1,000! 🎉
Physical copies are in circulation at select locations and we might just frame a copy for ourselves. 😆

Talaga?! Over 1K?! Even our president had to do a double take. 🤯

This year's 50/50 hit a record-breaking jackpot of over $1,000 and we're still in awe that we reached this milestone!

Congratulations to Marie Angeles, the lucky winner of $620! 🥳

Thank you to everyone who participated. YOU made this record raffle possible and the rest of the funds will definitely be put to good use by Filipino Language and Culture School of Edmonton Society and Share Your Spare Singapore! Maybe we can aim for a bigger one at our big 20th fiesta next year? 👀

Time to announce our fundraising results! 🙌🏽

Starting with the silent auction, it raised a total of $400 to be split between Filipino Language and Culture School of Edmonton Society and ShareYourSpareSingapore! 🥳

That’s a wrap! 🎉

On behalf of everyone pictured in the first two photos—the team behind months of fiesta planning—we want to say THANK YOU for making this year’s fiesta such a success. From our guests and sponsors to our performers and volunteers, each one played a part in making this our most impactful fiesta yet!

A special thank you goes to our elders who have formed the roots of these celebrations and continue to dedicate countless hours to the fiesta year after year. We’re convinced their prayers earned us a small window of sunshine from Edmonton’s recent storms! 🙏🏽

Named after the Filipino spirit of unity and communal effort, our Bayanihan Champions use their generosity to uplift others and strengthen our community.
