Great advice

Today at Makeni Central Mosque, the khutbah was centered on the overwhelming Day “…when a man will flee from his brother, and his mother and his father, and his wife and his children. Every person, that Day, will have enough concern of his own to make him indifferent to others.” (80:34–37)

The relationships we cherish most in this world will not save us on Yawm al-Qiyamah. On that Day, every soul will stand before Allah azza wajal alone, carrying only its Iman, its deeds, its sadaqah, its salah, its istighfar and the mercy of Allah the Ar-Rahman.

📌 But as always Allah the Al-Kareem He gives His servants hope, as Right after the fleeing, Allah describes "faces, that Day, will be bright, laughing, rejoicing at good news."

The brightness O Muslim, is not from lineage, wealth or status. It is from a life lived preparing for the moment when no one else can help us.

📣 Strive O Muslim, to prepare for the Day that we will stand before the As-Shahid.
