Rising Sun Theatre, where adult artists with developmental disabilities and theatre pros work together to collaboratively create and mount a new play, is gearing up to present its new mainstage show, VOICES.
Come experience our laughter, our imaginations, our songs and our VOICES!
Meet the Golden Girl who breaks free from being called a "problem child", find your way put of a jammed lock in a hotel bathroom, journey to the land of the midnight sun and the wilds of Africa, travel in time to the epoch of the cave people, and learn what one small voice can achieve today in a big world...
June 6 and 7 @ 2 pm at the beautiful Biederman Theatre, 17203 99 Ave NW in Edmonton in the Lifestyles Options Building. Wheelchair accessible and free parking on street or parking lot west of building.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. Rising Sun Theatre, the non-profit Edmonton theatre that mixes highly experienced professional artists with artists with developmental disabilities, needs volunteers for its casino on Wednesday June 10 and Thursday June 11. It's the theatre's major fundraiser, which will fund our programming for the next three seasons. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED. Can you volunteer to help? If so, please message me.

Our crowdfunding campaign on “Crowdfundr” is officially over, though we can leave it open to receive more donations for a few more weeks in case something else comes in.
The campaign was very successful. We exceeded our $2500 goal and raised over $3000!!!
