With the decision of the Edmonton Catholic School Board to no longer allow casino fundraising programs, and the funding cuts that followed, it was apparent that some students would have a tougher time coping with life demands during and outside school. A gap needed to be filled. Kickstart for Kids Association is a non-profit association that provides students with multi-faceted health education pr

ograms in the areas of nutrition, self-esteem, hygiene, and physical activity. By serving healthy snacks twice a week and through school wide presentations, Kickstart for Kids Association sets the foundation for the future development and success of it's participants both in and out of school.
