This program provides more than $ 4.1 billion in tax credits to over 18,000 businesses annually. SR&ED tax incentives encourage businesses of all sizes and in all sectors to conduct research and development in Canada and is the most prevalent support for R&D for Canadian startups.

We're excited to share the success of our BRIDGE October 2026 cohort in Red Deer, Alberta this past month! 🎉

Thank you to the incredible women entrepreneurs who showed up and made yet another cohort series unforgettable.

During the program, each entrepreneur dug into their business' vision, strategy, and leadership, and left with more confidence, a clear action plan, and new resources.

What we heard the most of though? The community. Women who came in as strangers left as connections, cheering each other on and sharing what they've learned along the way.

On October 6, Alberta Women Entrepreneurs joined Power Up North in Athabasca, AB - a conference where business owners gained the hands-on skills that move a business forward. It was a great reminder of what happens when people come together to learn, connect, and support one another.
