Reminder: Upcoming Sponsorship Application Deadline

If you are looking to apply for sponsorship during the 2026/2027 academic year (Fall 2026 through Summer 2027), please ensure your application is submitted by the 3:00 PM deadline on Friday, May 15, 2026.

Did you know that you are not required to have your full acceptance letter to apply for sponsorship? We understand that some institutions do not release acceptance letters by the sponsorship application deadline. We now accept proof of application to a post-secondary institution as part of the sponsorship application.

The IHS strives to develop our next generation of leaders, as well as help make the pursuit of a meaningful career in Indian health attainable for American Indian and Alaska Native students. IHS Scholarship Program funding plays a vital role in reducing the financial burden of health professions educational costs for tribal members, while increasing the number of Native health care professionals. These scholarships are essential to expanding access to care and addressing clinical shortages within our communities.

The TD Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples is now accepting applications. Open to First Nation, Métis or Inuit students enrolled in a minimum two-year, full-time post-secondary program.

For a maximum of four years, students receive:
▪️$10,000 towards tuition each year
▪️$5,000 towards living expenses each year
▪️Employment opportunities with TD
