Yesterday, we celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child — a reminder that every girl deserves the opportunity to dream, learn, grow, and thrive.

But for many girls in Uganda, these dreams remain threatened by barriers such as:

Limited Education: School fees and cultural stigmas prevent girls from completing their education.

Child Marriage: 34% of girls in Uganda are married before their 18th birthday.

Behind every statistic is a girl with potential. A lawyer. A nurse. A teacher. An entrepreneur. A mother. The possibilities are endless when girls are given the education and opportunities they deserve.

By supporting girls, we can help break down barriers, nurture their talents and create a future where they have the freedom to choose their own path in Christ.

When we invest in girls, we invest in stronger families, thriving communities, and a brighter future for everyone.

Since 2018, our Special Needs program has welcomed around 30 students each year—children who, because of their disabilities and cultural beliefs, may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend school.

Here, children who are blind learn to read and write using Braille and a stylus, while deaf students learn to communicate through sign language.

Our students read, play football and netball, sing gospel songs, recite memory verses, dance, create, play, and learn alongside their peers.

Most importantly, they are seen not for what they cannot do, but for all that they can.

A school doesn’t run on its own.
A church doesn’t serve on its own.
A medical centre doesn’t care for a community on its own.

It takes teachers, nurses, pastors, farmers, builders, parents, and countless others…faithful hands showing up day after day.

Behind everything happening in our community are people willing to do the work.

So many faithful hands. One shared mission. A community built to flourish.

Our goal? 7 out of 7.Every child in attendance.
