The Montrose Community League page serves to create awareness and update Facebook users of event, activities and the general goings-on in and around the community. Please keep all comments community relevant. Please do NOT tag people in photos. We wish to ensure the privacy of our Montrose residents wherever possible. Any post deemed offensive or not applicable to the community may be hid

den or deleted as per the discretion of Montrose Community League’s communications director. If need be, the person who made the post will receive a notification that their comment has been hidden/deleted. If the user has demonstrated a pattern of repeated offensive posting, the communications director then escalates the issue to the Montrose Community League president. Together they decide whether or not the user should be banned from the page. The individual could appeal the ban by contacting the community league. If a comment is harmful in intent or is of a libelous nature, then the issue may be escalated to the point where that user’s community league membership may be affected or the comment is reported to the police. Hey Montrose,

Just a Reminder that 2025-2026 Memberships have officially expired. If you have purchased a Membership on or after May 15, 2026 We have updated online Membership Information and renewed Memberships for the 2026-2027 Year. If you purchased a Physical Membership Card Since May 15, 2026 We are in the process of distributing New Membership Cards (I do believe we only have 5 more to distribute). If you have purchased a Membership in this time period and haven't received a 2026-2027 Membership card via email or in person please contact Montrose Community League at 780-471-2758 and we will look into why your New Membership hasn't arrived.

Also Please note that this year Montrose Community League has Swim Times at both Eastglen Pool as well as Commonwealth Rec Centre this year. Eastglen Pool is Scheduled to be down for Maintenance from January 4, 2027 to February 26, 2027. As well Commonwealth Rec Centre does have some blackout dates as it is a multipurpose facility. We will attempt to keep Members aware of the changes to the Swim Times.

Hello Montrose,

As Summer draws to a close it is time to start thinking about Community League Meetings. We meet on the Second Monday of the Month at 7pm (Except December) and (May AGM) at the Community Hall (5920 119 Avenue.

These meetings are open to Anyone in the Community to attend and learn more about the Community League and initiatives we are working on to help improve the Community. To Participate (Make Motions, Vote, ETC.) Community League Membership is required.

We do also offer an online Attendance for our Meetings as well for those unable to attend in person. If you are interested in attending online please send an email to the board at [email protected] with the Subject line Montrose Meeting and we will send you a copy of the Link.

Hey Montrose,

At our recent EFCL District Meeting our friends at Explore Edmonton were out to talk about the changes to K-Days this year. They also supplied the Community Leagues in attendance with a few extra of their Mail Outs with the Free Gate Admissions.

Montrose Community League will be making some of these available in the Following ways.

Aproximately 30 Through our Green Shack Program this year (the Green Shack Staff deciding how they will be handed out to Families.)

Aproximately 100 for the First 100 people through the gate for our Outdoor Market on July 18.

Aproximately 20 for our dedicated Volunteers upon request.

Aproximately 125 will be distributed ro Montrose Residents on a first come first served basis (1 card per request) by sending a DM to this account after the mail out delivery from Explore Edmonton (Expected July 2 or July 9)
