Today, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a time to listen, learn, reflect, and recognize the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools in Canada.

At Jasper Place Family Resource Centre, we recognize the importance of continuing to learn, building meaningful relationships, and creating space for Indigenous voices, knowledge, cultures and traditions.

We encourage our community to take time today to learn, reflect, and consider how each of us can contribute to the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

Developing Communication Skills in Infants & Toddlers

A Speech-Language Pathologist from Dream Pediatric Services will join us to share information about communication development in infants and toddlers and ways parents and caregivers can support their little ones as they grow.

A West Jasper Place Community Health Centre nurse will also be onsite throughout the session, giving families another opportunity to connect and ask questions.
