🎄 መልካም የገና በዓል! (Merry Ethiopian Christmas!) 🎄

As we celebrate this holy day, we reflect on the beautiful traditional service of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
Just like the sea of light seen in this video, may the glow of the traditional wax candle (ጧፍ - Tuaf) bring hope and clarity to your life. May the powerful rhythm of the drum (ከበሮ - Kebero) and the voices of many coming out to sing Mezmur fill your heart with joy.
We wish that the nine to twelve hours of prayer and celebration tonight bring peace and health to you and your family.
May the Creator (ፈጣሪ) grant us all love and unity, and may God (አምላክ) protect and bless our motherland, Ethiopia.
መልካም የገና በዓል!

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

A Special Christmas Delivery: Shoes, Smiles, and Hope! 👟✨
We are thrilled to share that, on December 25th, 2025 , SEEDS provided new shoes and pants/shirts to our high school students in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The students truly loved the gifts they received!
We sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts for enabling us to give this gift. Your support in so many ways helps these students succeed in their education and step into their future with confidence.

As the Year Closes, Help Us Reach Our Goal 🎓
As we look toward 2026, our mission is to provide full support for 130 students (72 Grade 8 students and 58 High-school students).

To support one student for a full year, we need to raise $296.00. As you think of your end-of-year giving, please consider a gift that changes a child’s life:
• Per Day: $0.81 (Less than a dollar a day!)
• Per Month: $24.67
• Per Year: $296.00

Your donations provide:
• School Essentials: New shoes and a change of clothes (just like those pictured!).
• Academic Support: Tutorial programs and nutritious snacks.
• Future Readiness: Summer camps to prepare students for their next grade level.
• Family Security: Health insurance (ጤና መድህን) for 30 families.

It’s a simple and powerful way to make an impact while finishing your holiday shopping. Together, we are sowing the seeds of a brighter future!

A Heartfelt Partnership: Over 20 Years of Hope! 🎄✨
Today’s annual Spirit of Hope United Church Christmas Lunch was a beautiful reminder of what community can achieve together!

We are overflowing with gratitude for this special partnership that has spanned over 20 years.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Spirit of Hope for welcoming SEEDS into their kitchen to cook the meal.

This collaboration is a true example of teamwork from the cooking and setup to the total cleanup by the church’s amazing volunteers. Because the church graciously hosts this event, the donations after the expeses go to supporting 130 children’s education (72 Grade 8 students & 58 High-school students) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The net income from the fundraising $713.90.

**To support one student for a full year we need to raise 296.00. Based on the lunch proceeds,
We have successfully funded the education of 2 students and an additional $121.90 already put toward a 3rd student. The Goal is to raise funds for 130 Students.

Join us TODAY to keep the momentum going!
**As you think of gifts for your loved ones, please consider a gift that changes a child's future. ***
