Grade 8 Graduation Celebration! 🎉

To honor our students’ incredible achievement of passing the national department exam and transitioning to high school, S.E.E.D.S. organized a fun-filled field trip to Entoto Park!

The day began with a joyful bus ride filled with singing and laughter. At the park, the students played games, enjoyed snacks, and shared a fabulous lunch together. The perfect ending? A sweet treat of ice cream, which they proudly declared as the highlight of the day! 🍦

We are so proud of their hard work and perseverance. Moments like these remind us of the power of education and community support. Here’s to many more successes ahead! 🌟

Appreciation from Our High School Students

Thank you, S.E.E.D.S., for 8+ years of unwavering support for education in Ethiopia! From tutorial programs, snacks, school supplies, and summer programs with breakfast and lunch, to the sweatshirts and sweatpants we received today—your dedication inspires us to dream big and achieve more.

They are almost at the finish line, and these students couldn’t have done it without you. Grateful for everything! 🙏

Happy New Year!
Need your help!

Dear friends,

Struggling to Keep Dreams Alive: Your Help Can Empower a Child’s Future!

As the year comes to a close, we at the Sustainable East African Education and Development Society (S.E.E.D.S.) find ourselves facing financial challenges to meet our budget and continue our critical work. Today, we humbly approach you because we believe that through your generous donations, we can keep this life-changing mission alive.

Over the years, your support has brought hope and opportunity to students like Samrawit and Ephrem:
• Samrawit, who has been with SEEDS since grade one, dreams of becoming a midwife despite her family’s struggles. Her extraordinary selflessness, such as requesting her lunch support go toward her family’s rent, reflects the profound impact of your generosity.
• Ephrem, once forced to leave school to support his family, has returned to his studies through SEEDS’ help. Now in grade 10, he is determined to graduate and uplift his family’s future.

These stories are a testament to what we can achieve together. However, the need is still great, and without your support, we risk being unable to continue providing these opportunities.

This Holiday Season, We Urgently Need Your Help

Your contribution will directly support students and their families:

• $296.00 snacks ,school supplies , summer program, shoes, tutorial to supports a high school student, ensuring they remain on the path to graduation.

🎄 Make a Dream a Reality Through Education This Holiday Season 🎄

We are incredibly grateful to Spirit of Hope United Church for their unwavering support and for allowing us to prepare the Christmas lunch this past Sunday, December 22, for the 25th year in a row. This cherished tradition brought the community together while raising vital funds to support the 160 children SEEDS serves.

A heartfelt thank you to the many amazing volunteers, especially Christin Gue (the whole family) and Bev Moore, who dedicated their weekend to preparing the delicious food. We also appreciate Kim and Roslyn for spending hours setting the tables so beautifully! Your hard work and kindness are truly inspiring!

Every Donation Makes a Difference!
Your contributions are helping ensure these children have access to education, meals, and the resources they need for a brighter future. As we face challenges in sustaining our programs, your support is more important than ever.

Happy International Children’s Day!

As we celebrate this special day, marked by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, we reflect on every child’s right to learn, to be healthy, and to be heard. At SEEDS, we strive to listen to the voices of our 160 students in Ethiopia and do what we can to support their education, health, and well-being.

Thank you to everyone who joins us in this mission.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference.
