And yes, we’re bringing an accordion to Oktoberfest! 🇩🇪🪗 Get ready for some music, good laughs, and a great time with friends.

But the best part? Every ticket helps us support local kids through nutritious meals and access to sports equipment, thanks to our partnership with Sport Central.

✈️ A big Fork It Over thank you to Centennial Flight Centre! 💙

We’re grateful to have Centennial Flight Centre supporting FIO and our efforts to make a difference for local kids.

Based at Villeneuve Airport, Centennial Flight Centre is a flight training school helping aspiring pilots turn their passion for aviation into a career. From private and commercial pilot licences to instrument, multi-engine and instructor ratings, their team helps students build the skills and experience to take flight.

And we’re especially grateful for the person behind the organization, Jeanette Bancarz, Centennial’s President — and a valued member of our Rotary family.

Jeanette is not only a fellow club member and dear friend, but also the 5370 District Governor who continues to give her time, energy and heart to our community.

Thank you, Jeanette and the entire Centennial Flight Centre team, for believing in what we do and helping us Fork It Over for local kids! 🍴❤️

🎤 Another reason to be at FIO… Meet Gery Schubert! 🍻

Known as the man of a thousand voices, a hundred faces, and at least 12 wigs, Gery is a professional actor, comedian, teacher, speaker, and performer with more than 15 years of experience.

He’s performed on film, TV, radio, stage, and at events across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico — and he knows how to make an audience laugh, connect, and have a great time.

And this year? Gery is going ALL Oktoberfest! 🇩🇪🍻

We honestly have no idea what he has planned… but we’re VERY curious to find out! 😂

So, yet another reason to join us for Fork It Over:

🍻 Great food
🎉 Great people
😂 Great entertainment
❤️ And a great cause

🍷 Can’t join us for Fork It Over? You can still be part of it!

There are many ways to support local kids through FIO. If you can’t make it this year, consider donating a bottle of w**e — or maybe two! 😉

We’ve made it super easy:

📞 Just call Grant at Aligra W**e & Spirits at 780-483-1083 and let him know you’d like to donate to Fork It Over.

Your generosity will help us support local kids with warm meals and opportunities to play sports. ❤️

You don’t have to be at FIO to make a difference. Every bottle helps!

Thank you for helping us Fork It Over! 🍷🍴

🧡 Today, we wore orange.

On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we take a moment to remember the children who never returned home, honour Survivors, and recognize the lasting impact of residential schools on Indigenous Peoples, families, and communities.

Wearing orange is one small way to show that we remember, we care, and we are committed to learning more about the truth and supporting the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

🧡 Every Child Matters.

And trust us… FIO is always a good time! We promise you’ll have fun and leave with your heart a little fuller.
