🎊 That’s a Wrap! Thank You for an Amazing 2026 Lunar New Year Extravaganza! 🐴✨
🎉 圓滿結束！感謝大家與我們共慶 2026 農曆新年花市！ 🐴✨

What an incredible weekend! On February 7th and 8th, the Edmonton Chinatown Multi-Cultural Centre (ECMCC) officially kicked off the Year of the Horse with a packed house at the West Edmonton Mall Ice Palace.

The venue was filled with joy, festive energy, and an amazing community spirit. Here is a look back at some of our favorite moments:

✂️ A Grand Kickoff: Our opening ceremony set the stage with beautiful speeches and a ribbon-cutting featuring ECMCC Chairman Mr. Fung, government officials, the Chinese Consul General in Calgary, and our valued sponsors.

🐉 Unforgettable Performances: From 4-year-old beginners to 80-year-old masters, our performers poured their hearts into every act! The crowd loved the traditional Lion, Dragon, and Kung Fu showcases, alongside beautiful multicultural dances that highlighted Canada's diversity.

🛍️ A Bustling Market: Over 70 vendors brought the festive vibe to life with traditional holiday goods, handmade crafts, trendy items, and delicious food that kept everyone coming back for more.

🎁 Lucky Winners: Our "One Ticket, Two Chances" raffle was a massive hit! A huge congratulations to our 50/50 Grand Prize winner and our 17 Lucky Draw winners. We couldn't have done it without Title Sponsor TD Bank, and all our generous prize sponsors.

From the thunderous drums of the Lion Dance to the high energy of Break Dance, there is something for everyone! 🥁💃

• Grand Opening Ceremony: Kick off the festivities with Hung Mon Athletic Club on Saturday, Feb 7 at 1:00 PM.

• Lion & Dragon Dances: Catch breathtaking performances by Chiu Lau Kung Fu College (Dragon Dance), Hong De Cultural & Athletic Association, Shang De Tai Chi Martial Arts Association, Edmonton KSK, Canadian Ging Wu and Yuet Wan Culture Association throughout the weekend.
