The Canadian Association for Black Health and Safety Professionals would like to extend our sincere gratitude 😇 to Employment and Social Development Canada for funding the two-year project, Re-Integrating Black and Racialized Workers Back into the Canadian Workforce, which concludes today, Friday, May 23, 2025. 🎉

We also wish to thank our internal support team, including our Board of Directors, Project Management Team, and participants, for their dedication in making this initiative a success. Additionally, we extend our appreciation to external supporters such as the Former Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages - Randy Boissonnault, Honorable David Shepherd, Honorable Sharif Haji, the Canadian Board of Certified Safety Professionals, and the many distinguished professionals, organizations, and volunteers who contributed to this effort. 👏👏

We wish all participants continued success and the very best in their future endeavors. 🤗💪

Our Re-integrating of Black and Racialized Workers with Disability into the Workforce is back again.

Join us in our mission to reintegrate individuals who have faced racism, unemployment, systemic barriers, mental health challenges, and physical disabilities into the Canadian Workforce.

Program Details:

Start Date: January 6, 2025
Duration: 18 intense weeks

Eligibility Criteria:

- Must be a permanent residence
- Canadian Citizen
- 18 years or older

What We Do for Participants During Re-integration:

- Soft skills and leadership training
- Networking 101 and career developments
- Managing micro aggression
- Computer bootcamp
- Facilitate work integration with potential employers
