HARESSO is excited to announce three employment opportunities through the Canada Summer Jobs program! We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and community-minded youth to join our team for 8 weeks this summer.

🔹 1. Sports Leader
Are you energetic, love teamwork, and have a passion for sports? Help us lead youth and community sports activities that promote health, inclusion, and fun!
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and supervise recreational activities for children and youth
Promote teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship
Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
🔹 2. Special Events Planner
Do you enjoy planning and bringing people together? Join us in organizing community events that celebrate culture, diversity, and connection!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and coordinating community events
Help with logistics, outreach, and promotion
Support event setup, ex*****on, and evaluation
🔹 3. Immigration and Settlement Director (Summer Role)
Are you interested in helping newcomers build a better future in Canada? Support our programs for immigrants and refugees during their settlement journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in organizing workshops and support sessions for newcomers
Provide administrative and outreach support to our settlement team
Help develop and distribute informational resources
📅 Duration: 8 weeks per position
📍 Location: HARESSO Office – 9631 107 A Ave, Edmonton, AB T5H 0Z6
💼 Eligibility: Applicants must be between 15 and 30 years old, legally able to work in Canada, and meet the Canada Summer Jobs criteria.
