COMPOST SALE! 🍂

Our approach to our gardens, grounds, and community is sustainable, regenerative, and holistic. That means working with natural products to keep our soil healthy and our vegetation lush. Luckily, it also means you, too, can get in on the gardening fun!

How it works:

ORDER ONLINE: (https://checkout.square.site/merchant/SAQB4FWR6FNX1/checkout/453DM2S3B7UD2KBOEOAP2BLG), and we'll deliver fresh, sifted compost within Alberta Avenue, Delton, Eastwood, Elmwood Park, Parkdale-Cromdale, Spruce Avenue & Westwood.

Add Annelida worm castings for $3/pail for an extra boost of microbes, nutrients, and water retention (important for these hot, dry summers). Deliveries (5-pail minimum) will be deposited in a space of your choosing on May 9th or 16th.

PICK UP IN-PERSON:
Our plant starter sale is May 14th, and we're happy to fill your 5-gallon containers with compost and castings to take home alongside your fresh veggie starters and ornamentals!

Edmonton Bike Swap: Buy, Sell, or Donate!
Edmonton, it’s time to gear up! Whether you’re looking to upgrade, sell a bike the kids have outgrown, or find a budget-friendly set of wheels (gas prices?), Edmonton Bike Swap is the place to be.
Event Details
• When: Saturday, May 9, 2026
• Where: Alberta Aviation Museum Event Hall, 11410 Kingsway NW
• Consignment Drop-off: 08:00 – 14:00
• Peace of Mind Walk Thru**: 14:00 – 14:30 (Exclusive access)
• Sale Starts: 14:30 – 17:00
• Donations Welcome: 08:00 – 17:00

**Peace of Mind (14:00 – 14:30): We hate bike thieves as much as you do. If you have a documented police report for a stolen bike, you get exclusive early access to the floor 30 minutes before the general public to look for your ride. We’re confident that you won’t find your stolen bike, but we’re also kind and want you to have one less place to look.

How it Works Sellers: Drop off your clean, functional bike and we’ll sell it for you!
o Fees: $10 for AMA members | $15 for non-members.
o The Payout: We e-transfer you 85% of the sale price.
o Need Pricing Advice? Mentoring a CS student that created a dedicated app to help you price your bike to sell (if you want the guidance).
o Safety First: Every bike is inspected to ensure it’s safe to ride before it hits the floor.
Buyers: Admission is $2.00 (if you can afford it). This supports 30+ groups that rebuild donated bikes for our community.
Pro-Tip: Sellers, make sure those tires are pumped and the chain is lubed—first impressions are everything! Let’s get more people on the paths and enjoying the Edmonton sunshine.
Check out the poster below for full details and registration. See you at the Alberta Aviation Museum!

☕ Coffee with Cops - Wednesday, April 15, 2026 | 7:00 PM ☕

Come to the table for a meaningful conversation about human trafficking in our community. Together with neighbours, women with lived experience, and organizations supporting the community share an evening of listening, learning, and thoughtful discussion. Together, we will explore how we can better support people, raise awareness, and help create safer neighbourhoods for everyone.
