Albertans Remember.

The Armistice100yeg committee is a group of stakeholders who are passionate to remember, and bring to life our Canadian history for Alberta and our Edmonton community.

Step back in time and step into history and experience the end of the First World War as Albertans did 100 years ago. The event will be a remarkable experience for all ages. Bring your stories and photos to the WW1 Memory Wall and share your family connection to the Great War, see the Lord Strathcona Horses and corral, be part of the Menin Gate “Piling of the Drums” ceremony and Colour Guard, walk the John McCrae Poppy Labyrinth leaving a message for the next 100 years, explore the exhibits. And yes, there will be tanks and a 21 gun salute! #armistice100yeg #wewerethere
