Next up, our incredible Sound Designer, Chris Scott, who is making his Shadow Theatre debut!

Creating the world of Baba Yaga, is non-other than set designer extraordinaire, CM Zuby!

I have been a set designer for more than 30 productions in Edmonton and Calgary, and almost 10 times that in the States where I grew up. (Officially a Canadian now!!) I’ve designed a show a year for the Shadow Theatre Co. since , uh - 2001, I think. I was nominated for a Set Design Sterling for Shadow's production of "The Two Battles of Francis Pegahmagabow." With other theatre companies have been nominated for a Sterling three more times. I am also a musician, illustrator and a professional scenic painter and a member of the Scenic Artists Guild (USA). With my partner Lynette Maurice we have an event company, Zu-Ma: Talent to Amuz, which specializes in family events, puppets shows and quite a few other kinds of artistic challenges we haven’t thought up yet. We have recently been working with elementary students and elders to create Indigenous school murals, an exciting and wonderful venture. Beware the Witch of the Woods.
