Earlier this spring, volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help refresh and care for the garden and playground areas, creating welcoming spaces to be enjoyed.

This week, Braemar students, teachers and school staff, our team members, and Early Childhood Educators will gather in these spaces to celebrate a year of hard work, growth, and achievement.

Today, on Early Childhood Educator Day, we are proud to celebrate Terra’s incredible Early Childhood Educator team and the important role they play in the lives of children and families.

At Terra, children are at the heart of our work. Our ECE team helps create spaces where children feel safe, supported, curious, and connected. Through intentional care, responsive environments, and meaningful relationships with both children and parents, they help build the foundation for healthy development the most important years of a child’s life.

Our educators help young families feel welcomed, encouraged, and understood. They celebrate milestones, support emotional growth, create opportunities for learning through play, and help foster a sense of belonging for every child and parent who walks through our doors.

We are deeply grateful for the compassion, patience, creativity, and dedication our ECE team brings each and every day.

Much Love for Young Moms!

Each year, parents at Braemar School, are celebrated on Mother’s Day.

They show up for their children, work hard toward their goals, and, when they stumble, they keep going because they know what it’s all for.

We have the best volunteers!

During Volunteer Appreciation Week, we take a moment to celebrate the people who make so much possible at Terra. Your time, care, and commitment help ensure that teen parent families feel supported and welcomed.

This year we invited our Volunteer team to "Thanks a Bruch!" We were grateful to have a chance to recognize so many important people for their important role.

Thank you for showing up, for believing in our work, and for being such an important part of our community.

Because of you, more families have access to the services and essentials they need. More young parents are able to participate in groups. More children are coming to environments filled with care.

Parents and children paint side by side.

Our recent painting group activity was a great example of strengthening communication, practicing patience, and exploring ideas together. These activities help children develop language, confidence, and a love of learning, in a place that feels safe and supported.

Gathering in a relaxed, welcoming space gives young parents the chance to meet others who understand their experiences. And when parents feel connected and supported, it has a lasting impact on their children.
