Today marked the successful completion of the first seminar of our anti-racism initiative, “Barriers: Malayalee to Multiculturalism.”

A heartfelt thank you to all the participants, speakers, volunteers, and the City of Edmonton - Local Government for supporting and contributing to this meaningful initiative. Your support, openness, and commitment created a safe and respectful space where every voice had the opportunity to be heard — and where everyone listened with understanding and respect.

The discussions and shared experiences today reminded us of the importance of dialogue, empathy, and community action in building a more inclusive Edmonton.

We are excited to continue this journey together. Our next seminar will take place on June 27, 2026, with the topic: “Exploring Cultural Understanding.” We warmly invite everyone from the community to join us as we continue learning, sharing perspectives, and building stronger intercultural connections.
