The Hodgson Community League serves the area in Whitemud Ridge which is bound by 23rd Ave.

on the south, Rabbit Hill Rd. on the west and Whitemud Creek community on the north. We provide programming and work to improve on facilities while representing our members interests.

As you may have noticed, the volleyball net has been taken down in the park. Due to a second instance of suspected vandalism, the cable stays were severed leaving us with no way of putting it back up. The volleyball net costed hundreds of dollars and the parts are not easily replaceable. We will endeavour to put it back up but there is no guarantee that we can and the net might have to be out of commission for the foreseeable future. This is unfortunate and disappointing as the net was widely used last year.

This year, the greenshack program has partnered with several community leagues to continue programming indoors during smoky/adverse weather conditions. The following are the four locations in the southwest portion of the city where we will be running our programs in the event of smoky weather (AQHI > 7):

Queen Alexandra (SW) - Scona District - 10425 University Ave

Parkallen (SW) - Scona District - 6510 111 St NW

Greenfield (SW) - Whitemud District - 3803 114 St NW

Aspen Gardens (SW) (August only) - Southgate -12015 39A Ave
