First Response to Fashion Celebrate with us on October 3, 2026 with "Velvet & Velour Generations" - taking care of the ones that take care of us. Where First Responders model for PTSD 🚔

The creators of Fashion First bring you an entertainment filled fashion show with a splash of fun and action from the extremely attractive and fit 1st Responders of Alberta. We present this event to support the 1st Responders of Alberta and ensure that all proceeds and money raised will go to the PTSD therapy development of the University of Alberta Faculty of Rehabilitation. We understand the everyday psychological difficulties of dealing with violent criminals, near death experiences and the challenges of saving the lives of Albertans. Due to these reasons, we are working with 1st Responders of Alberta and HiMARC to bring this city together and let the citizens’ of this province to really get to know and see the people underneath the uniforms of Alberta's 1st Responders.

This year, we’re focusing on the families of frontline workers, which is why our theme is “Let’s Wrap the Next Generation in Velvet & Velour.”

Join us for an evening of compassion, connection, and support, and attend the event dressed in your best velvet or velour outfit.

The families of frontline workers are affected by PTSD, too. Let’s come together to wrap them in warmth, love, and care, and remind them that they are not alone.
