Our hearts are with the community of Tumbler Ridge following the tragic shooting at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School.

We mourn with the families who have lost loved ones, pray for healing for those who were injured, and hold in our thoughts the students, educators, first responders, and all who are carrying the weight of this moment.

Schools must be places of safety, learning, and hope. When violence touches a school community, it affects us all.

We mourn the passing of Alex “Al” Osten Z”L

Al believed deeply in care, responsibility, and looking out for one another. Al’s recent significant contribution to Na’amat Canada helped us reach our campaign goal and will support children at Kanot Youth Village for many years to come. His generosity leaves a lasting impact and a meaningful legacy.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May his memory be a blessing.

Na’amat stands in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Sydney, Australia.

At least 12 people have been murdered and at least 60 injured in a mass shooting attack at a Chanukah event at Bondi Beach. On Chanukah, when communities gather to bring light into the world, a celebration was shattered by violence.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected, the injured, and everyone shaken by this tragedy. May the memories of the victims forever be a blessing.
