One of my students from my 'young artists of Beaumont' class, zhuzhed up a thank you card for me for our last class. It made my whole day. I spent a large part of the classes teaching the kids how to draw figures and faces, which equals basic human anatomy.

I absolutely love it! Makes me feel so appreciated. Thanks Garrett!

Out of the blue I got an email for a large pet portrait! Erin wanted to give her husband a unique gift for his birthday. She though a painting of their 2 cuties would be perfect.

He loved it!

Ok, so for urban sketch week, we were late to the game and busy with other stuff, so 4 out of 7 stretch prompts will have to do, I finished this up today while waiting for a client to show. It's the wall that separates the busy whitemud from my condo, and my condos fire lane.

Still getting used to gouache and need green. Would really love.. some green! My yellow is sad from all the mixing.. 😕😺🎨🖌️

Oh my goodness.. I was not on the ball this year for urban sketch week. I finished this a while ago but didn't post! Sketched this while on the patio at the Italian center downtown, the man front and center loved that I was sketching and was genuinely curious, the other man.. was very shy and ran off as soon as he heard I was sketching him.
