Global Shapers Edmonton The Edmonton Hub is comprised of diverse, talented, and driven young Canadians who are committed to making not only Edmonton, but the world, a better place.

The World Economic Forum has successfully established a history of engaging young leaders to positively and proactively impact the global agenda. In addition to its existing community of Young Global Leaders, who are in their mid to late 30s, the Forum is establishing a special community of young people in their 20s. This new community – the Global Shapers Community – will provide youth with a glo

bal platform to shape the future – integrating the personal, community and global dimension. Through the unparalleled convening power of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is diverse in demographics, geographical areas and sectors. However, it is united by a common desire to channel the members’ tremendous energy and enthusiasm into building a more peaceful and inclusive world.

Growing a greener future, one tree at a time! 💚

Today, we joined the City of Edmonton’s community tree-planting event at Dawson Park, alongside Community Forestry, Root for Trees, and Invasive Plant Outreach.

We spent the day planting native trees, shrubs, and flowers, learning about invasive plants, exploring Edmonton’s beautiful river valley, and connecting with fellow community members who care about our environment.

Small actions create lasting impact and we’re proud to be part of building a healthier, greener Edmonton. 🌍✨

Thank you to everyone who made this eco-friendly day so meaningful!
