Have you ever wanted to become a Basketball Official?

Now is your chance! The Edmonton Basketball Officials Association (EBOA) is offering this Spring Clinic to new and aspiring basketball officials. Our dynamic and experienced Clinicians will guide you through the current FIBA rules, on-court mechanics, approved signals and general game management strategies.

Date: Saturday April 9, 2022

Time: 8:30am - 4:00pm [Check-in for Registrants starts at 8:30am]

Location: Parkview School (14313-92 Avenue)

We encourage you to register soon in order to reserve a spot. A clinic fee of $59.37 per candidate is required at the time of registration. Registration closes on April 7, at 11:59pm MST. No late registrations will be accepted and you cannot register on the day of the clinic.

FAQs

Is there a minimum age requirement to Become an EBOA Basketball Official?
-Yes, you must be 15 years of age as of April 1, 2022

Is Parking available?
-Free parking is available at the school and transit is also nearby.

What should I bring to the Clinic?
-Bring a water bottle, packed lunch or lunch money, and gym shoes for on-court training. There will be a 30-45 minute lunch break.

-Refunds are available up to seven (7) days prior to the clinic.
