VegFest Edmonton 2026 needs your help...
For years, one of the biggest things we’ve heard from vegan businesses is that vendor fees can make events like VegFest feel out of reach, especially for smaller vendors and businesses already struggling to stay afloat.
So this year, we took a leap of faith and lowered our vendor fees A LOT.
We did it because we want more local makers, food trucks, artists, sanctuaries, non-profits, and small vegan businesses to be able to participate.
But there is one catch: because fees are lower, we now need to reach a minimum number of vendors in order for the festival to be financially possible at all. VegFest costs far more to run than most people realize. Insurance, permits, tents, tables, power, advertising, security, first aid, entertainment and equipment add up very quickly.
We must reach our minimum number of vendors by the end of April. If we do not, we will have to make some very difficult decisions, which could include cancelling the festival this year.
We truly do not want that.
The vegan community has already been through enough lately, with so many vegan businesses and brands closing their doors. We do not want to add another heartbreak
to that list.
We are still looking for:
• Vendors
• Food Trucks
• Sponsors
• Entertainers / Performers
• Animal Sanctuaries
• Vegan-friendly Non-Profits & Organizations
If you have been thinking about applying, please do it now. If you know someone who would be a great fit, tag them, message them, or send them a tiny kale-powered bat signal. 🥬✨
Let’s fill Athlone Community Hall and grounds again on Saturday, August 22 with amazing food, incredible people, live entertainment, and all the joyful vegan chaos we know and love.
Please apply before it’s too late and help us keep this annual tradition alive. 🌱
