Canadian Hemophilia Society Alberta Chapter The CHS Alberta Chapter is here to support members of the Alberta bleeding disorder community. We host several fundraisers to help raise money for our Chapter.

This page will be used communicate information to the Alberta bleeding disorder community on events and activities happening in Alberta, promoting awareness of bleeding disorders and information about programs happening in Alberta. These funds help send kids to camp, families to programs to help them learn about their bleeding disorder and assists funding for families to attend family camp. Reminder to join us on May 30 as we gather to celebrate the Ken Poyser Park Rededication.

This special event is an opportunity to honour Ken Poyser’s legacy, reconnect with community members, and celebrate the park that carries his name. Following the rededication ceremony, everyone is invited to continue the memories and fellowship at the community hall for refreshments and conversation.

Ken Poyser Park Rededication

Due to recent weather and current site conditions, we’ve made the decision to postpone the Ken Poyser Park Rededication originally scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026.

We’re planning to reschedule the event for a date in May to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. The new date and full details will be shared soon.
