🌟 Student group raising awareness and funds in support of Make-A-Wish® Canada. Students For Wishes (SFW) University of Alberta was created in June 2014.

Since then we have been able to raise over $30,000 for granting wishes! We are a 100% student-operated group developed to raise awareness and funds in support of Make-A-Wish® Canada. Our team strives to:
- Involve the University of Alberta and wider Edmonton community in their fund-raising and advocacy goals.
- Provide students with an opportunity to become engaged philanthropically.
- Provide an

opportunity to its members to become part of a rapidly evolving student community network.
- Offer its members valuable leadership experiences. All funds raised by SFW University of Alberta will be going towards granting the wishes of children living with critical illnesses, within their local community. If you have any questions regarding our group and/or are interested in joining us, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to raising funds and supporting Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta? If so, Students for Wishes is recruiting three new executive members to help us achieve our mission!

We’re currently seeking applications for one Sponsorship & Outreach Event Executive, one Resources Event Executive, and one Vice President to join our leadership team. As part of our executive group, you’ll have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, engage with a variety of community partners, and be part of an organization that brings life-changing experiences to children with critical illnesses.
