Just a quick reminder to help keep our community safe 🔒

We received a report of an individual near 87 Ave and 152 Street checking vehicle and house door handles. While nothing further has been confirmed, it’s a good reminder to take a few simple precautions:

• Lock your vehicle and home doors
• Remove valuables from plain sight
• Report any suspicious activity to local authorities

Looking out for each other makes a big difference. Stay safe and thank you

The warm weather last week melted the last of our ice, bringing a close to this years outdoor rinks. Hopefully in the next month the snow will melt completely and we’ll be able to start using our outdoor spaces for basketball, pickle ball and street hockey.

Our small rink is open regular hours. Unfortunately we have to say goodbye to the big rink for the year. The warm weather and direct sun was too much for it.

Sorry everyone. The sun insists on melting our ice. The small rink is still open but the large one is closed until the colder weather comes back.

Mother Nature turned up the thermostat ☀️😎

We love the unseasonably warm weather as much as anyone… but our outdoor rink doesn’t. The ice has officially decided to melt away, so for everyone’s safety we’re closing the rink until temperatures drop back below freezing ❄️⛸️

Don’t worry—we’ll be ready to freeze things back up the moment winter remembers it’s winter again. Until then, enjoy the sunshine, and keep an eye on our page for reopening updates! 🧊🙌
